in a constant state of flux

ebb and flow

breathe in and out

inhale the beauty and the beast

exhale the light

from deep inside

with a smile

with a smirk

with a feisty word

and a spark

that ignites the fire in the centre

of your very being

let it shine for the world to see

negativity is merely a weight on the scale of life

never let it outweigh that smile

that light

that brightness

that makes you who you are

fighting does not always have to be a battle

a battle does not have to bring about a war

not a war of words

not a war of actions

not a war of opinions or prose

fighting, battling, warring for the right of self

does not have to be;

but rather a  struggle

a struggle for a right to your light

light that shines and opens new paths

paths of creativity

paths of unique innovation

paths of independence and strength

strength like patience is a virtue

and virtues need nuture and development

encouragement and understanding

for in a state of flux

the strength to persevere

sparks from deep within
